Motelx – Spooks and chills are coming to town!

This year’s edition of Motelx, Lisbon International Horror Film Festival, starts tomorrow, September 6th and until September 11th be afraid, be very afraid.

Motelx celebrates its 10th anniversary and, to commemorate 10 years of horror cinema in Lisbon, the festival program will include more than 70 horror screenings, to take place at Cinema São Jorge and Teatro Tivoli BBVA, both in Avenida da Liberdade.

This year’s special guest director is the Italian director Ruggero Deodato, director of the “Cannibal Holocaust, and besides some films by Deodato, the audience will also be able to see movies by Tom Marshall, Mike Mendez or Rob Zombie, amongst others.

As per usual, there will also be workshops, masterclasses and even screenings especially designed for kids. Check out the complete Motelx festival program for all the details.

The opening screening, Don’t Breathe by Fede Alvarez, is already sold out but there are still plenty of screenings to choose from.
